I.S.T - Indian STRETCHED Time
Not more than a week ago my father and me boarded a First Class train(Rajdhani Express) to Udupi(near Mangalore).I had to attend my counselling at Manipal for B.E. admissions.
Needless to say, the Gujjar riots have messed up railways schedules and earnings but to what extent?? i really doidnt knew before this incident.
We boarded the train at around 11:30 in the morning and its normally a 28 odd hour journey from New Delhi to Udupi. One to two hour delay is normal in India(sort of a birthright).
It means we should have reached Udupi at around 3:30 in the evening the next day.

zzzzzzzz.....
Delhi to Mathura, the train reached in a record time of one and a half hours.....good nice going!!!
It regained it original speed, then formed a decreasing arithemetic progression and litrellay ran at a speed of about 15 to 20 kmph for about 3 hours.
Then came Agra. It had a stay of about 15 minutes over there after which we got to know the train is going via Bhopal which is not its normal route!!!!
It had to go via Kota.Now an extra 6 hours delay has added to the mess.
And it wasnt enough.
Since the train wasnt going on its normal route it didnt get time to time clearence and as a result of which it could gain its top speed.
And at what time did i reach!!!!
3:3o in the morning the next day!!!!
A massive 12 hour delay!!!!

IBM fills chips with water
IBM's not having enough of processor cooling technology or wat????
Or, people at IBM's Zurich Lab have gone crazy enough to try this crap!!!!!
So far IBM's record of processor cooling has been excellant.Two years ago IBM announced a breakthrough with carving channels into chips to let thermal paste sink down nearer the silicon.Then the very last year IBM Zurich had cut more channels into cooling unit.Now, IBM looks to pump water between stacks of processors and other common motherboard components to keep them cool.

The chip industry has become rather enamored with the idea of 3-D stacking where processors and memory, among other things, sit right on top of each other instead of near each other on a motherboard. This should help increase the speed at which data flows between the various components by opening up many more communications paths. By shrinking wires to about 1/1000th of their usual size, chip makers can also help reduce the energy consumption of their products.
But but......removing heat from the preocessor has been a major issue!!!!
To deal with the heat, IBM has discovered a way to pipe water into cooling tunnels that are about as thin as a human hair and that sit in between die layers of a processor.However this technology will be still be years away from production.

Media SuckXXX Big-Time n so does WE!!!!!
i am sure at sum point or d other, each one of us fancy ourselves thinkin v r " d new generation "n we don luk down on nebody, v believe truly in everyone being equal n yes we do believe in class bias.
probably we must reconsider dat........
Infinite Aarushi murder case reports, has made us feel like shes one of our own.
We can all relate to her like shes a school friend
Ohhh!! how we wan dat d poor soul must get justice and yeahhh our very "active " media has tried with all its power to make sure we r satisfied.
But hav u ever wondered y u don't feel the same way for Hemraj (domestis help)
Its as if he never existed and his murder's only a tool to crack the aarushi murder case.
Media obviously s not interested coz probably we don symathize as much wid Hemraj.
Is it coz he s jus a servent n Aarushi ohhhhh " she s jus like us "
